All Hands Volunteers is thrilled to announce our second All Hands On Everest Challenge where we will take two teams of adventurers just like you to Everest. The first team will be heading to Everest Base Camp from May 7 ‐ May 20, 2017, and the second team will journey through the Khumbu Region to summit Island Peak from May 7 ‐ May 22, 2017 — both in partnership with Explore Himalaya! As all proceeds will be used to help the people of Nepal recover from the devastating earthquake of 2015, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to accomplish an incredible feat of endurance while at the same time, making an enduring impact on a family that has lost everything. And as you rub shoulders with the beautiful people of Nepal on your journey to Everest, this adventure is sure to be one of both body and soul.
EVERY DOLLAR RAISED will be used directly to help the people of Nepal rebuild their lives and will enable our recovery efforts to progress. We are currently fully engaged in building five new schools for the kids of Nepal, so EVERY DOLLAR will make a difference.
The trekking industry is integral to Nepal’s economy and was also deeply affected by the earthquake. The All Hands on Everest Challenge not only allows us to raise funds to physically rebuild the lives of many but also enables us to support an industry that needs every boost it can get.
A 13-day trek through the stunning Khumbu region to the iconic Everest Base Camp (5,380m/17,600ft)! This challenge includes an additional day to ascend Kala Patthar (5,643m/18,514ft) for unforgettable sunrise views of the world’s tallest mountain.

A 15-day trek through the stunning Khumbu region to the summit of Island Peak (6,189m/20,305ft) where you will enjoy spectacular views of the Himalayan giants, including Everest, Lhotse and Makalu!
Please note that Island Peak is a summit of over 6,000m/20,000ft. This is a more demanding endurance challenge and therefore requires good physical fitness and ideally some prior experience of mountaineering at altitude.
Pricing and Payments
The initial $1,135 (including the $300 deposit and the $835 payment) will be paid directly to our outfitter, Explore Himalaya, to cover their costs. 100% of the $3,000+ you raise will be used directly to help the people of Nepal. Our teams of volunteers are on the ground in Nepal in Nuwakot and Sindhupalchok working hard to help these families recover from the devastating earthquake last year.
