In March 2010, Rhode Island had more than 15 inches of rain followed by severe flooding throughout the state. After the storms and subsequent flooding, many RI residents requested volunteer recovery assistance. In response, All Hands Volunteers launched the Rhode Island Recovery Coordination Center (RI RCC) to assist in the coordination of volunteer recovery efforts.
