A severe weather outbreak throughout the Southern US has caused a flooding disaster in Missouri. Hundreds have been forced out of their homes and towns are completely submerged. The federal government has declared a state of emergency in Missouri and has asked for our assistance in responding to the floods. We have officially launched efforts to help victims who have been affected by the flooding outbreak.
We have deployed our immediate response team to Van Buren, Missouri after being completely inundated by floodwaters. Approximately 185 homes were damaged. While the team conducts further damage assessments, we are providing muck out and debris removal services to support affected residents.
Team members were also sent to the town of Pocahontas, Arkansas to assist with volunteer coordination and training after torrential flooding in Arkansas took over hundreds of homes.
