How: Following an invitation by the Mayor of Ofunato, we began operations on April 12, 2011 and operated in Southern Iwate for over six months. Our volunteers cleared highway ditches, rice field drainage systems, hand cleaned and retouched damaged photographs, and removed damaged materials from homes.
